黃鶴樓簡介
黃鶴樓始建于三國吳黃武二年(223年),原系東吳孫權在蛇山所築夏口城中的一座軍事瞭望樓,至唐代演變為“遊必於是,宴必於是”的觀賞樓閣,享有“天下絕景”“天下江山第一樓”“江南三大名樓”等美譽。
當代黃鶴樓以清同治樓為藍本設計,於1985年建成開放。幾十年來,已發展成為覆蓋整個蛇山、占地40.3公頃的大型綜合性景區,被評為國家首批5A級旅遊景區、中國旅遊勝地四十佳、全國文明單位和國家重點公園。
The Yellow Crane Tower, formly known as a watchtower on the Snake Hill in Xiakou City constructed by Sun Quan, the ruler of the Kingdom of Eastern Wu, was first built in 223, the second year of the Huangwu reign in the Three Kingdoms Period (220-280). It turned into a popular “tourist and party” destination in the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and won great fame as “No.1 tower of mountains and rivers under heaven” , “unmatched scenic spot under heaven” and among “three most famous towers in in the south of the Yangtze River”.
Today’s Yellow Crane Tower, which opened to the public in 1985, was rebuilt after that of Emperor Tongzhi’s reign in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Nowadays, the place has been expanded into a large-scale comprehensive scenic spot, which covers an area of nearly 40.3 square hectometers on the Snake Hill and is awarded National AAAAA Level Scenic Spot, Top 40 tourist attractions in China, National Civilization Unit and National Key Park.
